You optimized the game engine where when you run the game what you don't see doesn't render so why not do the same for the editor.
When working with large tilemaps say 25k x 25k you run into performance drops so what I'm saying is for the editor to not render what you don't see off screen.
That way when I'm editing a very large tilemap I can zoom in to not use up so much of my computers resources.
What I've found currently is that zooming doesn't really do anything.
It would help me out a lot also I know it's a huge tile map but it's critical to use such a tilemap for my game.
