Handling text in the past has been a bit complex if not impossible. For example selecting a specific word in a text object and applying different styles (italic, different colours) or being more interactive (touch specific words in the same text object to trigger different events). Other game engines have already added features like that, it would be great if we could see something similar with C3 in the future.
We have working rich-text support for both the Text and SpriteFont objects for the C3 runtime. This won't be shipped until the C3 runtime is ready, but it is otherwise done.
